Join us every Second Saturday of the month at the Topstitch studio for our signature Sip + Sew workshop.

This 4-hour workshop is an introduction to fashion sewing and is perfect for beginners or first-time sewers. It covers everything you’ll need to learn about the basics of sewing garments, specifically –

• Five (5) types of stitches

• Three (3) hem stitches

• Three (3) seam stitches

Guests will have the option of making a custom tote bag while learning the foundational stitches, hems, and seams.

While most people own or have access to a sewing machine, few are confident in their ability to maneuver one. Topstitch instructors will show you the ins and outs of a standard at-home tabletop machine to get you comfortable and confident.

Knowing these basic sewing techniques will help you repair, hem, and customize garments at home.

Complimentary small bites and a variety of wines and beverages will be provided for guests to enjoy as they sew. All ages (8 years+) are welcome to attend but you must be 21 years+ to drink alcohol.
